About The Client

The Padgett Messages is a website that introduces the spirit messages received by James Padgett. The site contains hundreds of messages that were received from the years 1914 till 1920.

The client had a website that was several years old, and hadn’t been updated in some time. It was extremely hard to navigate and they wanted a brand, fresh, new website that would allow their visitors to find the information straight away and provide a better user experience. Their goal is provide all the information related with James Padgett in an effective and appealing layout.

What Was Our Strategy?

The first step was to redesign the site architecture so as to improve the navigation menu and overall structure of the site in order to reduce the click depths that were required to access the messages.

We conducted an extended keyword research and competition analysis of their marketplace so as to ensure we were targeting the right keywords in order to improve our chances of driving more traffic to the site.

In addition, we decided to create an individual section for all the messages with a clear table that was still appealing to the eye and offered the information their visitors are looking straight away.

Additionally, the new site was designed for use on all devices, including mobile, desktop and tablets. This is particularly important as more of 50% of the online searches nowadays are done via mobile.

The goal of the redesign was to primarily update the look of the website to improve its overall functionality and user experience (UX).

Where is The Client Now?

After the site was rebuilt, it was loading in less than three seconds. This was a great result for the client.

Furthermore, the client has now an optimised SEO site which is ready to commence an SEO campaign to get more leads and targeted traffic to the client’s site.
