About The Client
Shine Preschool is an established Childcare business which has three existing centres distributed between Victoria and New South Wales.
The client had a website that was several years old, and hadn’t been updated in some time. They wanted a fresh, professional website that was easy to navigate in order to improve their overall conversions.
The first step was to work out with the client what they wanted for their website and how they wanted to present their business.
The original design lacked a clear ‘above the fold’ section so visitors were quite unsure what they needed to do, where they were supposed to click and this was affecting their overarching converisons.

Creating A Highly Customised & Mobile Responsive Website
WHAT WAS OUR STRATEGY FOR DESIGNING A NEW WEBSITE?
Our first step was to conduct an extensive keyword research and to analyse the competition to clearly understand what was going to be the best URL structure that would enable them to set up a solid foundation for future SEO optimisation on the site.
We then focused on improving the overall UX and navigation of the site and organised the three main childcare centres they promoted in three separate pages and clearly outlined the services just below the ‘above the fold’ section so visitors could immediately click to any of their desired centres.
Additionally, we focused on improving the overall sales copy of the home page by ensuring we were building our trust and credibility with future customers and changed the existing menu to make it easier to move around the site and provide a better experience to their visitors. We also inserted strategic CTAs to ensure we were increasing the chances of converting visitors into customers.
Finally, the new site was designed for use on mobile devices, desktops and smaller screens. This was particularly important, as of 2015 Google started considering this as one of their main ranking factors.
The last thing that was done was to make sure the website was fully optimised for and functioned well on a mobile device. This ensured that customers who accessed the site from different devices could still have a positive experience when interacting with her site and navigate easily.
