Where Did We Start?

This client started with us in mid October 2021. They had an existing website which was already ranking on the top 3 positions for their main keywords and they wanted to maintain those positions and get more traffic to their site and increase their bookings. In addition, they had just opened a new clinic in Essendon and were eager to drive traffic to and book appointments in.

When looking to start SEO, this client told us that they were focused on a few keywords that they felt were the most important to their business and the best way to bring new clients.


We began by conducting a detailed site audit as the site had more than 400 pages. We then selected the main pages we were going to optimised and added content to the website for each service the client provides. This was to ensure that the pages performed well in searches and that both their customers and Google understood their services that were being offered. We also created an additional page for Essendon so as to cast a wider net of qualified leads.

We then focused on an aggressive GMB optimisation campaign for Essendon which included reputation management, ongoing GMB posts and link building so as to grow their presence in that area. We were starting from scratch and it was important to put an aggressive content plan in place.

As part of optimising the Google My Business Profile, each section that was relevant to the client was filled out completely, making sure to include the keywords for the client’s main services and service areas.

Additionally, a content plan for both posts for the GMB Profile and the website was put in place to leverage the keyword strategy for this project.


We were able to rank #2 and #1 for his main keywords targeting Melbourne and also reached the top 3 positions for Essendon.

This translated in a 200% increase in bookings an overall 60% increase in organic traffic (considering they were already on the top 3 positions for some big keywords).

Additionally, because of the success in our local SEO campaign in Essendon, the client was able to open more days to operate that business by adding Tuesdays as of November 2022.

In addition, we were able to increase 90% of their rankings in the first page of google. This has enabled the client to see a spike in traffic and qualified leads translating in a consistent increase of bookings.

Due to the overall success of the campaign and exceeding the client’s expected return on investment, the Client is considering a full website renovation in order to further increase conversions and target #1 positions in all of his main keywords.
